User Guide / FAQs

Creating a great call to action on your posts, reels, and stories is key to generating amazing engagement.

Creating a great call to action is important to activate your fan base.

  • In posts and reels here is a great starter:
  • Comment below #PizzaUSA and I'll DM you a link to my blog.
  • Comment below #PizzaUSA (or DM me #PizzaUSA) and I'll DM you a link to my blog.

For Instagram stories, while yes, you do have a URL sticker there are still some key reasons why you should leverage Stampede Social technology when engaging with your fans.

  • Fans aren't always ready to engage with your content upon discovery.
  • Stories only last 24 hours and the option to request the information for later consumption is very appeasing.
  • With Stampede you'll know who is requesting your content.

Call-to-Action (CTA) Questions - FAQs

  • What are some quick tips for a great call to action?

    • Keep it very clear and concise
    • Keep it close to the top of a large caption
    • Do not bury the CTA in a paragraph of text
    • Use words that are easy to spell
  • Where should I position my call to action in my caption?

Close to the top! If your goal is action from your fans or customers do not bury the lead and put the call to action under many paragraphs/sentences of content. The farther down your request for your fans/customers to use the hashtag to get your link the less likely they will see it.

Never hurts to repeat it at the bottom and/or in the image/video of your post.

  • Should I use a CTA in an IG story?

Yes. Creating a call to action in your IG stories that call upon a Auto-DM campaign is a great way to get your links into your fans/customers DMs.

URL stickers are great but you can't track them and if your fan/customer isn't ready at that moment they'll likely forget about it.

Create a win/win and get them to comment and get the URL in their DM so they can respond on their own timeline.
