User Guide / FAQs
Your Stampede Social plan comes with a certain number of concurrent Auto-DM campaigns that you can run. Campaigns have a certain life expectancy and then you can retire them and replace them with a new campaign.
Step 1: Click EDIT in the Active Auto-DM Campaigns section
Step 2: Click either Archive or Delete to remove the campaign
WHAT IS ARCHIVING?
Archiving a campaign will remove it from active status. The difference between archiving or deleting is when you archive a campaign the destination URL is saved in the sent report.
WHAT IS DELETING?
Deleting a campaign will remove it from active status. The difference between deleting or archiving is when you delete a campaign the destination URL is not saved in the sent report.
EDITING AN EXISTING CAMPAIGN
Stampede Social doesn't have a true 'edit' feature. If you enter a hashtag and typo the hashtag or URL simply delete the campaign and re-add it.
After you create auto-dm campaign you will also see a 'trackable link'. You can click on this link to copy a URL for that campaign that you can then use on any other platform such as Twitter (X), email, YouTube, Linkined, etc.
Why trackable links?
The trackable links offer you an easy way to track clicks to your content destinations from many different platforms. All of those clicks are then stored and available in the 'Auto-DMs Sent' report on the reporting page.
My trackable link is missing!!!!!!
Fear not, it takes a couple minutes to generate a trackable link after you create an automated-DM campaign. Check back in a few minutes and you'll see the link icon.
Reporting
You can download a report of all your trackable links in the reporting section under report download:
No. Archiving or deleting any campaign will stop any automation from the time they were deleted or archived.
Yes. However, if you delete the hashtag it will not maintain the URL data of where you sent them to. That is only maintained if you archive the hashtag.
